Block paving driveway

There are a number of styling options that come with block paving offering an array of colours, shapes and textures, these will suit any property type.

Without doubt block paving is hard wearing and highly durable, this makes them a pleasure to drive on and very safe.

Sometimes blocks can come loose over their lifetime but they are very easy to repair. They are also very easy to clean and maintain, making them look brand new again in appearance.

In comparison to gravel, block paving does cost more, however does provide a real investment on your property.

Gravel Driveway

You will find that gravel is the probably the cheapest option for your driveway, making it highly affordable for many.

Gravel for driveways has evolved of recent years and you can now select from a number of colours, shapes and textures all of which come in at a reasonable amount.

They can be considered as low maintenance, twice a year should be enough to maintain your driveway for years to come.

No problems should occur to drainage, gravel will not provide any homeowners with any problems that could occur to obverse weather such as puddles and flooding.

It’s not ideal for driveways that have a high gradient as gravel overtime will work their way to the bottom of the driveway, measures could be taken to reduce the movement.

Weeds will naturally occur through gravel, so you may need to keep on top of this with weed killer to keep them at bay and from spreading across the driveway.
